At Winning Solutions, Inc. (WSI), we frequently encounter new and innovative applications for the robust Microsoft Access database system to address our clients' real-world challenges. I'd like to share a particularly unique case in which we provided a critical solution.

Client Challenge:

A client had transitioned to a new business software suite, replacing an outdated system. The vendor of the new software did not facilitate the migration of data from the old system, which is unusual. Typically, one would expect a vendor to provide data migration services, especially when transitioning from legacy systems. Faced with the inability to access historical data necessary for day-to-day operations, the client approached WSI for a solution.

3 - Search Functionality

We designed a user-friendly search form within the database, enabling the client's team to easily search for and retrieve information as needed.

4 - Read-Only Access

To maintain data integrity, we set up the database in a read-only format. This measure prevents any modifications to the old data, which is crucial for archival accuracy. All new data entries and amendments are made through the new software system.
