What is Flash?

Flash is one of the few web technologies that has been embraced by the internet.  Flash provides a method to deliver compelling media rich presentations and also has the power to drive web based applications with the use of ActionScript.  Flash has been used to develop PowerPoint type presentations for websites, as a framework to develop cross platform applications and as a media player for music and videos.

Even industry greats such as MySpace, Google and YouTube utilize Flash's power to deliver their content.

How does WSI utilize Adobe Flash?

Flash has grown up over the years and WSI has grown up with it.  Our developers have kept up with the latest plugins, ActionScript and design tools to continue to develop Flash based solutions.  WSI has used Flash to develop a presentation that was shown on a panel of 86 flat screen televisions, to create video presentations used in new homes to showcase their features, to develop real time mapping solutions that report the locations of sailors during a boating race including wind and water currents, and WSI has even take the classic approach of using Flash to deliver video, animations and presentations all on the web.  A better question might be, "How doesn't WSI utilize Adobe Flash?"
